About

First of all, allow me to offer this disclaimer: This ministry is not mine. It’s God’s Ministry. I had to call it something for the title page and thought since it was me who experienced what God brought me through as a way of offering help for others who are/were like me, then allow my life, my experiences to be a “hope” for them.

Navigating my Site

Just a few quick helpful hints:
  • The calendar provides a daily devotional by clicking the particular day
  • Directly underneath are my own personal blogs which are carefully thought out and committed to words
  • Then the normal site material:  my book, sexual offender info followed by substance abuse information
  • How you may follow my site’s progress, accreditation as an “expert” writer and a link to my Internet Radio interview

This site is for those who struggle.  It is for those who love people who are struggling. Whether you are struggling with substance abuse, sexual habits, gambling or anything which is controlling your life, even the Internet and video games, and you don’t want it to do so, this is where you will not find condemnation, but understanding.  This is where you will find a friend, someone who understands the struggle, who has spent time on his knees for resolution and will do the same for and with you.

When fighting addiction, you know it will come in waves, often times carrying us beneath the currents too strong to be fought on our own.  This is why this site is dedicated to you.  I have come to the conclusion there is only One Source Who is more than able and capable of handling our issues and setting us on the path of sobriety.  For those who do not know Him, this is a place where introduction can be made.  For those who have left Him in the past, know that He has never left you in His past but has been bringing you toward a future of hope and an expected end. You might not have thought it was expected, but He has known all along this road you are traveling and has waited patiently for you to call upon Him to bring you out.

Are you ready?  This is the time…

Purpose

There are several reasons why I have built this site:
  • Provide encouragement, assistance and direction for those wanting and needing help in  addiction(s), and
  • Provide information and encouragement for registered sexual offenders and their families which are having to deal with abusive and archaic policies implemented under the recent instituted laws of various states.
  • Market my book, “If You Send Me, I Will Go“, which tells the story of my addiction history and recovery and why I feel it is important for me to share my story to provide hope and encouragement to others.
  • To invite you to invite me to meet with you and your church or organization to share with them how to combat the evils of addiction, no matter what it is. I have a presentation entitled, “I Have Something to Say” which attractively illustrates addiction and how one can defeat it.
  • Although it is to be understood sexual offenses and substance abuse often travel along different paths, it is through the same Source of Healing, whom I choose to call “God”, which can guarantee a solution, comfort and most of all, a productive and healed life.

    Statement of Faith

Our healing is a direct result of our belief in God to forgive and heal us from our sin of addiction. Addiction is not a disease. It is sin. It is only God who has the ability to remove sin in our life, not associations, not meetings, not sponsors, nor anything short of God Himself.

    Sharing

If you received something from visiting with me these few moments, would you take the opportunity of letting others know either by telling them or sending them an email letting them know you have found a site which isn’t full of fluff but filled with encouragement and practical information for those who struggle with any sort of addiction.  Would you do this?  I look forward meeting them and hearing from you and your suggestions on how I can do this better because although the desire is there, I’m really a novice.  Thank you… –Bro. Roy
