I was blessed Wednesday, January 6, 2010 speaking to the owner of this home and sharing with them my vision and dream to help women caught in addiction, and suggested to them this home would be ideal and they agreed if God is leading in this direction, they would be interested!
What will it take to bring this blessing into fruition? First of all, God’s continued blessing and leading and secondly, your support. I’m currently working very hard to find 400 individuals willing to pledge $20 monthly in order to secure this home and provide food, materials and necessary provisions to house 10 women who will come off the street with a desire to be healed and restored to their homes, communities and churches. It is my intent to never charge a woman or their families because many obviously coming from the street do not have money for health-care nor might their families be in a position to help them any further than they have already. Should this be a barrier in women getting help? No. Whatever we need to do to save God’s women from addiction, we need to do it.
I would request if you are able to make a contribution whether one time or monthly, please contact me so I can place your name on my personal list or on the website’s contribution list, if you’d like. If you are a member of a church, I would invite you to contact me and let’s arrange for me to visit your church and to share with them my own bio/testimony, “If You Send Me, I Will Go” which is the title of my book, published March ‘09, during your 11:00 service and my afternoon PowerPoint presentation entitled, “I Have Something to Say”, demonstrating how Christian methods of overcoming substance abuse is far more efficient and practical than secular programs available today.
Would you be the second to begin this list? I’m waiting to hear from you and “Thank You” from the bottom of my heart and from those women who will walk through these doors broken and torn to leave healthy and restored.
